Hurricane Season Caribbean effect
The hurricane season of September 2017 has made landfall hitting the Caribbean region with hurricane Irma and Jose, spinning through Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, St.Kitts & Nevis, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Tortola, St.Maarten with others affected by heavy rains.

This brutal storm immediately saw support from Caribbean based International Gospel Artist  Sherwin Gardner, who updated his album promotional tour stops offering support relief to the victims of this tragic disaster.  The Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados shows, who have not been affected by the storm path, will go ahead with the plight of the hurricane victims as the centre focus.

“A plight such as this can not be ignored”, Sherwin Gardner says,  “We have a responsibility as a body to support our brothers and sister in times of trouble. The UK Caribbean connection to Antigua & Barbuda is a strong one. Seeing the images on the news is one thing but witnessing first hand has been overwhelming.”

Sherwin Gardner who is from Trinidad & Tobago, currently lives on the island of Antigua, serving at SJPC House Of Restoration Ministries. The sister island of Barbuda was impacted on 7th Sept 2017 obliterating approximately 90% the nation’s structures and vehicles.  The Barbuda Prime Minister, Gaston Browne, describes the island as ‘barely habitable’ and called for a near total evacuation of the island leaving more than 60% of Barbuda’s 1,600 residents homeless.

Hurricane Season UK effect
This impact to the Caribbean has lead to the London stop scheduled for Friday 29th Sept 2017 in Forest Gate being cancelled to allow the Caribbean acts to focus more on serving in the region. In its place, a benefit concert towards hurricane relief will take place at the same venue, see details below.

“I look forward to visiting the UK in the near future, but for now, ministering in the region is key. I want to personally thank those who messaged me, prayers for the islands and the support of those involved in the promotion”  Sherwin Gardner.

REFUNDS: Ticket holders seeking refunds for previously purchased event, can be refunded on the night or by emailing request to artistehub@me.com by providing contact number and bank transfer details.
