BRITISH GOSPEL ARTS LEADS IN FORMING NEW NETWORK FOR PRACTITIONERS SEEKING GOVERNMENT SUPPORT
Andrea Encinas - Arts Director for British Gospel Arts Consortium has called for an urgent response from all those who work within the Education system... Andrea's notice issued 24 November reads as follows:
"As you may be aware, the Government has published its National Music Education Plan for England following the Henley Review. On 3 Nov, Youth Music launched its new programmes in line with the review’s recommendations.
One of the modules under Strengthening the Sector: Networking-Building and Maintaining Networks, I think is a good one to apply for for us to establish a network of the key providers of gospel music educators to young people.
Please let me know if you are interested in being a partner in this network as I intend to put in an application on the network’s behalf for 1 Dec deadline. If there is any other organisation that should be on this list/network not listed above, please forward to them and send me their name and email address."
Andrea has provided details of the module copied below this article. You can also visit http://network.youthmusic.org.uk/sites/default/files/users/Funding_docs/Module_Networking.pdf
